Dan Yomi, a Nigerian LGBTQ activist living in the UK, has taken to social media to celebrate one year of dating with his significant other. Yomi, who once served as a youth pastor and publicly came out as a gay man in October 2018, shared photos and videos of their anniversary celebration at a restaurant. The couple shared a kiss in one of the photos.

He captioned the post with, “It was our one year anniversary yesterday.”

A Nigerian man, Suleiman Isah Isah, originally from Kano state, proudly revealed his new citizenship status on his Facebook page. He relocated to the United States after marrying an American citizen, Janine Reimann, on December 13, 2020. In May 2023, he enlisted in the US Army.

Isah, who recently turned 26, first connected with his wife Reimann through Instagram when he was 23, and she was 46. Reimann, a chef based in Lindon, California, traveled to Nigeria for their wedding, which took place on December 13, 2022, at the Barracks Mosque in Panshekara, Kano. He shared an image of his US Certification of Naturalization, expressing his gratitude to the United States military for providing him with the opportunity.
