Tiwa Savage, the amazing singer and songwriter from Nigeria, is making her big movie debut! Her first film, called “Water and Garri,” will be coming out on Prime Video sometime this year. That’s awesome because that means people in over 240 countries can watch it!
Tiwa is super excited about this project, and she shared the news on Instagram. She said it’s been over two years in the making and feels like one of the most amazing things she’s ever done. Not only is she starring in the movie, but she also helped make it happen behind the scenes!
The movie’s title, “Water and Garri,” might not make perfect sense if you’re not familiar with Nigerian culture. But basically, it represents two important things: water is essential for life, and garri is a popular food in Nigeria. So, it could be about something basic but important, or maybe it’s a metaphor for something deeper.
