Nigerian artist Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, has revealed the most dangerous thing she’s ever done. She explained an event where she had to leave a plane in the middle of the sky while skydiving with her cousins.
“Tems recently told Elle in an interview that her uncle talked them into going on a thrilling adventure.
She mentioned hesitating to jump when the moment arrived, questioning why she agreed in the first place. However, they didn’t give her a choice and forced her out of the plane.
During the interview, she was asked about the riskiest thing she’s ever done, and Tems replied:
“The most dangerous thing I’ve ever done is skydiving. I can’t even tell how high it was, but I tried it once. For a moment, I thought, ‘Am I in trouble? I don’t know who convinced me to do this. I don’t even know why I thought of doing this, but here I am, falling.’
My uncle persuaded me and my cousins to take the leap. At first, I thought it was cool, like being a daredevil. Then, when we got into the plane, I considered staying inside, but they insisted, and eventually, they pushed us out.”
