Nigerian Man Celebrates Acquiring American Citizenship Granted by the US Military

A Nigerian man, Suleiman Isah Isah, originally from Kano state, proudly revealed his new citizenship status on his Facebook page. He relocated to the United States after marrying an American citizen, Janine Reimann, on December 13, 2020. In May 2023, he enlisted in the US Army.

Isah, who recently turned 26, first connected with his wife Reimann through Instagram when he was 23, and she was 46. Reimann, a chef based in Lindon, California, traveled to Nigeria for their wedding, which took place on December 13, 2022, at the Barracks Mosque in Panshekara, Kano.

He shared an image of his US Certification of Naturalization, expressing his gratitude to the United States military for providing him with the opportunity. He wrote, “Alhamdullillah, I am grateful to have served in the world’s strongest military. Thanks to the United States military for giving me the opportunity to serve and become a citizen of the United States of America. I am now an American.”

His achievement received congratulations, love, prayers, and support from family, friends, and well-wishers in the comments.
