Are you interested in collaborating with individuals from various fields to tackle global challenges? The Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP) 2024 offers you that opportunity!

The GCRP is a training program that unites people from around the world to establish connections and collaborate on cultural projects. This year’s program will be held in Marrakech, Morocco, from November 25 to 28, 2024.

Why Should You Apply?

The Global Cultural Relations Programme (GCRP) is a sponsored initiative organized by the Cultural Relations Platform, often in partnership with various organizations. The program is designed to be accessible, covering costs related to travel, accommodation, and training. This sponsorship enables professionals from diverse backgrounds and regions to participate without the financial burden that might otherwise prevent their involvement.

More scholarship opportunities are ongoing in countries across Europe, the United States and Canada. Check out some selected opportunities below:

Who Can Apply?

The program is open to two main groups of professionals from the cultural and creative sectors or those involved in creating safer societies. They are seeking 40 professionals who:

• Are 25-39 years old. • Have at least three years of experience in international or cross-cultural work. • Work for an organization or as a freelancer. • Can commit to the program from November 25-28, 2024, and travel to Marrakech.

Cultural and Creative Sector Professionals: If you work in any of these areas, you can apply:

• Architecture • Film and TV • Books and Publishing • Cultural Heritage • Cultural Management • Design • Media • Music • Performing Arts • Visual Arts

Professionals Working in Creating Safer Societies: If you work in any of these areas, you can apply:

• Conflict and Post-Conflict Areas • Peacebuilding • Mediation and Dialogue • Trauma Healing and Mental Health • Interfaith Dialogue • Human Rights • Working with Marginalized Groups • Social Justice and Inclusion • Migration and Displacement • Climate Change Response • Fighting Disinformation

Important Dates

• August: Participants will be informed if they are selected. • October: Selected participants will be announced online. • November 24: Participants arrive in Marrakech. • November 25-28: Four days of programming. • November 29: Participants depart from Marrakech.
