We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Care Aide to join our exceptional care team in one of our beautiful care facilities.

Position Details:
- Permanent Full Time – Day Shift
- 4 days on, 2 days off. 0700-1500.
- Permanent Full Time – Evening Shift
- 4 days on, 2 days off. 1500-2300.
- Permanent Full Time – Day & Evening Shifts
- 4 days on, 2 days off. 2 days 0700-1500 and 2 days 1500-2300.
- Permanent Full Time – Night Shift
- 4 days on, 2 days off. 2300-0700.
Compensation: Starting at $28.74 per hour plus benefits after probation period
Responsibilities:
- Follow established care plans.
- Provide personal care for residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, assisting with meals, oral hygiene, and other applicable care duties.
- Respond to call bells/alarms.
- Observe and monitor residents’ progress, symptoms, and behavioral changes, reporting significant observations.
- Utilize mechanical aides for resident transportation.
- Aid with lifting and/or transferring of residents using established safety techniques.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the BC Care Registry is required.
- Completion of Grade 10 and graduation from a recognized Resident Care Aide program.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Cultural education and experience are preferred.
The successful applicant must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and any required booster shots, unless exempt due to legislated protected human rights grounds.
